WHAT IS TEL ?

TEL is linked with the National Teacher Policy Implementation Standard 10: Integration of appropriate 21^st Century Skills with new pedagogies, lifelong learners and digital literacy skills

Overall objective of Technology Enhanced Learning is to apply digital tools to enhance teaching and learning in educational settings and ensure continuity of learning in National Teachers’ Colleges.

By taking TEL Course, the learner will gain the following Competencies:

• Foster communication among learners and teachers via e-mail (Gmail)
• Design attractive visual presentations (Google slides)
• Deliver online synchronous interactive lessons (Zoom)
• Create screencasts to deliver a-synchronous lessons (Active Presenter)
• Create engaging podcasts to deliver audio lessons (Anchor)
• Design attractive digital teaching and learning materials (Canva)
• Create  digital educational videos (Powtoon)
• Store and share teaching and learning materials online (Google Drive)
• Foster knowledge co-creation among learners and teachers (Google Docs)
• Create digital assessment activities (Google Forms)
